From its origins at a South Melbourne Market stall in 1985, Black Swan has become a household favourite. Faced with a competitive dip market, the challenge was to distinguish Black Swan.

Collaborating with the Point3 team as a freelancer, our aim was to capture the vibrant essence of the market in each dip tub—merging culinary expertise with the market’s lively ambiance of textures, colors, and aromas. The new logo, inspired by both the market and the swan, reflects our rich history.

Visually, dynamic market themes shine through in our creative assets: an animated swoosh, a vibrant palette drawn from fresh produce, and photography highlighting market-grade ingredients.

Pedro merida acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land on which we work, and we recognise their continuing connection to land and culture.
